Christ is risen

Easter is a day of joy, hope and love. Christians celebrate the victory of light over darkness, life over death, and the triumph of God’s love for humanity. Christians’ belief: there is no coming back of eternal life without a death in Christ.

Bunnies represent fertility and eggs symbolize rebirth and new life. The legend of dying eggs as a celebration of Easter: After Jesus was resurrected, Mary Magdalene, his follower brought with her an egg to visit Roman Emperor. She told the emperor “Christ is risen” like an egg hatching from the tomb.  The emperor replied “Christ has no more risen”.  Upon his saying those words, the egg in Mary’s had turned red.  A sign from GOD her message was true.   The red colour symbolized Christ’s blood shed on the cross.
